Let's start this week & this month with a healthy meal, shall we? Today, on the menu, we have another muffin recipe, perfect for the banana-loving people.
The facts: each banana contains only about 105 calories, and consists almost exclusively of water and carbs. Bananas contain very little protein and almost no fat. A medium-sized banana contains about 3 grams of fiber, making bananas a fairly good fiber source. Bananas are a great dietary source of potassium. One medium-sized banana (118 grams) contains 9% of the Recommended Daily Intake. Eating bananas may help reduce exercise-related muscle cramps and soreness.
Take out your pots and pans,
get your mixing-bawl ready
and let up start baking these little ones:
It doesn’t get much easier than that. :)
You know: whenever it calls for 1 cup of gluten flour (or just, flour) substitute 140 grams of your favorite gluten-free all-purpose flour blend. That's how you substitute. :)
Oh, and one more thing: bananas rarely contain any pesticides or pollutants, due to their thick protective peel and they are incredibly easy to eat and transport.
