Burda Wednesday: April 1957 - part II

Hello everyone.

Happy Wednesday to you all.
Sometime,s midweek hits us hard, with being aware there's a lot more jobs/work to do, and yet weekend is far away. So, I have compiled few quotes to get us going on..

1. "It's a bad day when you don't get the work done that you need to get done or you don't get it done to the satisfaction." --David Fincher
2. "People often say that motivation doesn't’t last. Well, neither does bathing. That’s why we recommend it daily." –Zig Ziglar
3"If you hear a voice within you say “you cannot paint,” then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced." –Vincent Van Gogh

Now.. if you haven't got enoght boost - here's a slice of Burda for you: all starts with tennis..

I believe, this is, now - a much better Wednesday.
So, with that in mind: have a great day!

  1. Lovely through and through!!! Aside from adoring all the great dresses, I'm really taken with the awesome mid-century tennis fashions. My 84 year old maternal grandma has been playing tennis since her youth (she still plays, impressively, to this day) and I can imagine that these were akin to what she must have worn on the court back in the 50s. (If only she'd held onto her tennis clothes and other fashions from that era, but alas, she was always keen to look modern when she was young, so she didn't.)
