BURDA Wednesday

Hello there.

Oh, the weather is horrible today.

Chilling wind; and no need to open the umbrella - since, it'll only get broken by the wind. The temperature is paradoxal: it was highest in the morning, and as the hours go by it's getting lower. Quick dash to work.. BUT, there's a cure:

February 1956. of Burda fashion magazine!
Let's go.

I hope this has brightened up your day.

  1. Burda is always a major burst of sunshine, no matter how dreary the weather. Things are taking a nosedive in the wintry direction here this week as well. No snow...yet...but lots of wind, grey skies and rain of the sort we rarely get in this neck of the woods (aka, it's much more like the iconic heavy rains of Vancouver, some 4.5 hours to the south of us). The seasons will always change, of course, but it would be rather nice if autumn could hold on just a bit longer for once!

My sweet dear, I'm so very behind on your posts in the last month, between our travels and more recently (me) being ill with the flu (which is still invading my body). I will try to read the ones I've missed today and start afresh with keeping up with them better again from today onward. You always write and share such engaging, marvelous things and I genuinely miss it when I don't get a chance to read what you've written for a little while.

Big hugs & the happiest of late October wishes,
    ♥ Jessica

    1. We agree on this, Jess: BURDA magazine has an amazing ablility to lift the mood, even move the thought away from such things like the flu (I'm so sorry to hear your're fallen ill - knowing your condition, it's expecially hard).
