When I read about folks getting into films, I get really happy for them. It seems like such a tight space to squeeze in - and yet, so many boys and girls dream about it. Apparently, if you are going to try to make a living in Hollywood you better learn how to wait tables. Really. Or do something like bartering, because you’re going to need something to fall back on - so say old movie stars.
Today, I have for you a story of Simone Simon
- Simone Thérèse Fernande Simon (23 April 1910 – 22 February 2005) -
told from the pen of "Picture Play" magazine's writer.
I like reading the stories of people making in into the world of Big Screen, no matter if they are covered with a little bit of magic dust, and not entirely giving all the detail of how things really were back in those times. Still, it's romantic.
Have a great Mid-week.
