BURDA Wednesday

Hey there, dearies!

It's cold, rainy and dark outside.. I think it's the perfect time to take a look at something gorgeous from the past issues of BURDA magazine.
This week we are looking at the pictures from August 1950.

Have these helped the moody weather?

♥♥ Pinky Honey

  1. They have indeed - they've helped make it even more enjoyable (I'm weird, I know, but I rather adore the cooler weather and even a good dose of rain most days). That first dress, oh my word, how I adore it! The white cuffs against the subtly shinny, inky black fabric of the frock is so elegantly appealing. I would dub that my October Dress in a heartbeat if I owned.

I truly adore your Burda posts, dear Marija, thank you much for making me swoon over another set of awesome vintage images from this classic publication.

    Big hugs!
    ♥ Jessica

    1. Nothing weird there, dear.
I, too like the cooler days - they give me the chance to go on and wear elaborate layers without fainting from heat (or even worce - sweating!)
I love the wedding dresses - 1950's were the best years for wedding dress crerations.
And on the page 27 there's super-easy nigh gown that everyone (REALLY everyone) can make.

      I'm glad you've liked it
